| Sorry guys, it's been a while. It's going to be a busy semester; I sure hope I'm up for it! Practicum in a kindergarten classroom starts next week. That's two full days a week! I'm not sure how I feel about it - excited definitely, a little anxious, not so thrilled about the age-group, but expecting a lot of learning experiences. Living situation is going well, much better than I expected. Can get a little crazy with wedding plans consuming a lot of life. (No... not my wedding ) Been sick a lot though lately and am completely tired of that. On more antibiotics. In fact, I have 3 bottles of pills and 1 bottle of nasal spray sitting right here in front of me - maybe I ought to open my own drug store. Or not. Still hanging onto summer. Missing Texas a great deal. | | |
| And it's two bare feet on the dashboard Young love and an old Ford Cheap shades and a tattoo And a Yoo-Hoo bottle on the floorboard
Perfect song on the radio Sing along 'cause it's one we know It's a smile, it's a kiss It's a sip of wine, it's summertime!!

| Finishing off perhaps one of the busiest weekends ever. I don't know if I've ever been so productive a have gotten so much work done in a 3 day span. It feels good though, quite refreshing! Really all I want to do right now is my work, because I know that once this "to-do" list is done... I'm done with school for the summer. Busy-ness is good for my right now anyway; it keeps my mind off things I don't really want to think about.
Good music lately - LOTS of Shane and Shane, I just can't get enough of those boys! They sing Scripture, it's great - no need to worry about content and it isn't like those worship songs where you have to wonder "are they talking about God or their girl/boyfriend?" It's drawing me closer and closer to the Almighty which is exactly what I need. Amazing sermon with DeNeff this morning about the suffering of Christ, so real and so practical. What is your greatest fear? Do you see it there on the cross with Christ? I know mine and I can see it clearly, the Holy Spirit is very loud right now and that just fills me with excitement! I read through The Case for Christ this week which prepared me above and beyond for DeNeff's sermon this morning. I've also started reading this book by the Eldredges, Captivating. I hestitated to for so long because it was so trendy, but after many recommendations and a real need for some great insight - I picked it up. Even thought I'm not far into it, I completely recommend it! Uh-mazing!
I could go on a lot more, but the hour is getting late and I guess my roommate is here for the night. I better run off. Coming home this weekend to see the new puppy!!! Soooo cuuuute! Can't wait! | | |
| Pennsylvania is a great state. If you live in PA and go to school there... you might not realize how amazing PA really is. I know that until I moved to Indiana, I took it for granted. On the way home during spring break, Natalie and I composed a list (not in any particular order): Reasons-People-Should-Be-Jealous-That-They- Are-Not-From-PA!! Feel free to add because I'm certain it is not exhaustive.
